Islamic Gender Studies in Fes, Morocco.
|
The Center for Islamic Gender Studies, a U.S. based organization located in Cambridge,
Massachusetts, runs an exchange program that aims to send American and International students
to gender studies workshops in the ancient and beautiful city of Fes, Morocco, a Muslim,
multilingual, multicultural, and developing country.
This program is the first of its kind and offers a unique opportunity to study gender and
work with women in Morocco. Classes are taught by the same professor who directs the first
government approved graduate gender studies program in the Middle East and North Africa.
As part of this pioneering program, we invite students, private individuals, and
organizations to attend gender studies
workshops.
